Where they differ
People versus software. VetClaims.ai's fee buys time with its staff: two working sessions and a person to contact through filing. YourVABenefits is software; the reading, citing and drafting happen on your device, and the people who help you are the accredited representative and doctor you already have, through a link you share.
Price. $1,250 once against $14.95 once. VetClaims.ai's own page acknowledges the gap in a different direction, noting that fees elsewhere are often "charged up front, typically per claim"; it is flat rather than contingent, which both companies share.
What the law says about paid preparation. A federal court held in May 2026 that a company which prepares and presents claims for a fee without accreditation violates 38 U.S.C. 5901 and 5904 (see the consultants page). VetClaims.ai's page states it does not prepare, present or prosecute claims on the veteran's behalf. Whether a given service crosses that line is for a court, not this page.
